Atención, el hundimiento del Mendez Nuñez, el crucero español que se había sumado a nuestra FT, debe llamarnos la atención sobre las intenciones de las fuerzas de Granados con respecto a nuestros portaaviones.

Las órdenes operacionales no han cambiado, destruír las columnas y mantener la presión sobre las PAC enemigas.

Preparen el equipo y a la sala de briefing.

Acabamos de recibir información que los españoles están alistando sus CASA 2111 con misiles para un nuevo ataque, envalentonados por el éxito al hundir el crucero español.



Pero sólo eso, no sabemos ni cuándo ni dónde, aunque sí suponemos son sus blancos prioritarios ambos portaaviones.

Como alerta temprana, hemos desplegado nuevamente al ARA Almirante Brown como piquete de alerta, cercano a la costa de Ifni. Además, otros dos escoltas españoles se suman a la FT, navegando a popa y hacia la costa de los portaaviones.

Así que, caballeros mucha atención al tema. No hay que decir que sin portaaviones, no tenemos nada.

Otro tanto ocurre con un petrolero que se acerca a la FT a reabastecer de fuel-oil a los buques, escoltado por un destructor español. Hay que tener un ojo sobre él.

Se ha cancelado el reconocimiento ante la falta de nuevos informes de sonar.

Por lo demás, las órdenes operativas son prácticamente las mismas.



1º Escuadrilla de Ataque

Objetivos a atacar:

Toma prioridad la detección y destrucción de la columna blindada sobre ruta Sidi Borya-Id Aisa.

Luego, en orden de importancia:

A) Columna en Sidi Mohamed ben Daud.

B) Seguir hostigando la columna en Sidi Borya.

Columna blindada sobre ruta Sidi Borya-Id Aisa.

2º Escuadrilla de Caza y Ataque

Deberá dar escolta a la 1º de Ataque en el ingreso a sus incursiones.

Sólo a la salida de estos, de no haber contactos, podrá cazar libremente a las PAC enemigas que no representen peligro a Ataque.



Fuerza de Tareas

La Fuerza de Tareas se desplazará rumbo norte-sur con rumbo aproximado 235/240º a 55 km/h.

Despego como numeral 3 de la escuadra al mando de Balker, tomamos altura sobre la flota atento a que hay bombers en rumbo directo con escolta, luego de varias evoluciones me derriba un buchón

Despego tomo altura y luego de varias idas y vueltas engancho un buchón cerca de la flota que se retira y lo derribo, luego escaso de jugo aponto sin novedad.

Despego nuevamente, escoltamos al grupo de ataque hasta su objetivo al norte de Ifni, saliendo hacia la FT son seguidos por un buchón, lo sigo y luego de una trepada al borde del black out logro derribarlo, regreso con poco fuel y aponto nuevamente.

Salgo como numeral de Chape. Entramos en combate con bombarderos españoles luego de que lanzaran misiles contra nuestra flota. Derribo a uno ya dañado y alcanzo a otros dos, que también caen. Vuelvo a la FT y aponto sin novedad.

Nueva salida. Esta vez tratamos de alcanzar nuevos bombarderos que se aproximan a la FT. Entramos en combate con un escolta que en un frontal me deja con daños en la turbina. Me persigue y me provoca más daños en el plano izquierdo. Antes de poner regresar a la FT, el panel me marca fuego en la turbina por lo que me eyecto.

Tercer Vuelo:

Ultima salida de combate. Derribo un Buchón y persigo a otros dos. Escapando y volviendo a perseguirlos, logro derribar a otros dos. Regreso al V2 y aponto sin novedad.

Salgo como wingman de Cuervo, el líder de Ataque. Tomamos altura en la vertical de la FT, mientras esperamos que Caza se organice, debido a problemas con la catapulta del V2.

Estamos en eso cuando contactos que se avecinan del sur nos obligan a soltar la carga bélica e interceptar a los contactos que ya se visualizan.

Resultan ser dos bombarderos escoltados por dos Buchones. Como estamos solos, le indico a Cuervo que ataque a los bombarderos antes que lancen misiles, lo que hace con éxito haciendo que malgasten sus misiles.

Pero no tengo suerte con los cazas españoles. Toco a uno, pero el otro me derriba, lo que me obliga a saltar, herido gravemente.

Decolo de urgencia ante el combate ya generalizado sobre la FT.

Me uno a la danza mortal y derribo a un Buchón. Toco a otro, que humeando, es derribado por uno de Caza.

Me junto con Cuervo que despega y trepamos a altura de intercepción, cosa que hacemos sobre dos bombarderos, los que me cargo sin problemas.

Con poca munición y sin contactos a la vista, apontamos para reabastecernos y realizar el ataque a las columnas que estaba planeado.

Cuervo aún no aponta y aparecen nuevos contactos arrastrados por caza hacia la FT. Decolo otra vez a fin de cubrir la llegada de Cuervo.

Mientras lo cubro Caza derriba al último enemigo, así que una vez apontado Cuervo, lo hago yo sin novedad.

Tranquila el área, nos vamos a atacar la columna entre Sidi Borya y El Aisa.

Una vez localizada, atacamos con buenos resultados. Uno tras otro explotan los vehículos enemigos con los HVAR, para luego estrafear sin resultados visibles.

Nos volvemos al portaaviones, pero nos separamos. Al dejar la costa y a unos diez kilómetros mar adentro, un solitario Buchón aprovecha que no tengo escolta y me derriba.

Salto y abordo de mi balsa, remo hacia la costa con un remo que parece una cuchara.

Despego como lider de ataque. Cuando alcazamos los 3000 metros sobre la flota caza nos importa que esta teniendo inconvenientes para despegar, por lo que es nuestra tarea proteger a los portaviones de los bombarderos enemigos que se acercan desde el sur. Ceteu y yo los interceptamos, sin embargo logran soltar bombas. Yo daño a uno y retorno para apontar gravemente dañado, mientras Ceteu logra derribar a uno pero luego cae.

Despegamos rapidamente para proteger a la flota. En esta ocacion logro interceptar  2 bombarderos que derribo antes de que logren causar daño a nuestros barcos. Una vez sin municiones regreso para apontar pero a causa de la turbulencia no logro enganchar y la flota pasa por encima mio.

Despego como lider de ataque con la cobertura de caza para atacar el camino que sale de sidi borya. Una vez en la zona comenzamos a atacar y logramos destruir varios objetivos. Cuando escapamos, no logro escapar junto a Ceteu y este es derribado por un Buchon. El otro avion enemigo que rondaba la zona me sigue a mi para derribarme, pero Pepper rapidamente lo saca de juego.
  Regreso al portaviones donde aponto sin novedad.
