Condiciones clim?ticas: Tiempo bueno. Nubes a 1000 metros.

Objetivo de la misi?n: Detener la ofensiva Legionaria sobre la base de J1.

Aparatos a utilizar: Cada escuadr?n partir? con 6 HAWKER TEMPEST y 2 IL-10. Por lo tanto, el conjunto de los pilotos del GAE/GOA tendr?n disponibles 12 TEMPEST y 4 IL-10 para enfrentar al enemigo.
Despegaremos desde J5.

Armamento: Los Tempest estar?n configurados 6 con bombas de 1000 Lb. y 6 con ocho cohetes de 60 Lb. Los IL-10 llevar?n 4 cassettes AJ-2 (bombas racimo).

Prioridad de blancos a atacar:

A) Tanques enemigos.
B) Bater?a de coheteras (J2).
C) Veh?culos transporte de tropas.
D) Puente de pontones sobre el r?o CHINWIN (H2).

Actividad A?rea enemiga: Se espera una importante participaci?n de aviones de ataque a tierra que apoyar?n la ofensiva sobre J1, con sus correspondientes cazas de escolta.

Informaci?n adicional: La base de J1 se encuentra bajo fuego de artiller?a enemiga. Estar?n autorizados a aterrizar en ella s?lo en casos de emergencia.

Im?genes del combate:


1) Formaci?n de F4U franceses configurados para CAS rumbo al combate. 2) Un sonriente TC_Chacal barre una columna completa de infanter?a enemiga. 3) Pasada de granadas antipersonales sobre las posiciones de artiller?a francesa. 4) Un Morane Saulnier MS 500 Criquet cae bajo el poder de los 4 ca?ones de 20 mm de los Tempest. 5) El ?ltimo blindado enemigo es destru?do con cohetes poco antes de cruzar el puente hacia J1.


1) Antes de caer derribados, los F4U franceses logran provocar da?os en J1. 2) Los Invader realizan un bombardeo a nivel pero tampoco sobreviven. 3) Primer reconocimiento al puente de pontones sobre el r?o CHINDWIN. 4) El IL-10 de GOA_Escorpi?n se pasea como en un pol?gono de tiro. 5) Pasada razante sobre el enemigo.


El puente de pontones queda
temporalmente inutilizado.

Partimos para enfrentar la ofensiva enemiga divididos en 2 escuadrillas. Una est? al mando de GOA_Escorpi?n y otra del TC_Baco. Se decide que los Tempest realicen las primeras pasadas, as? quedan libres para cubrir a los IL-10, de ser necesario. A lo lejos observamos intensa AAA sobre J1. Poco antes de alcanzar el objetivo se detectan 2 Hellcats franceses que son r?pidamente derribados antes de colocarse en posici?n de ataque.
Iniciado el apoyo a tierra, en pocos minutos la infanter?a enemiga queda barrida. Los ultimos blindados ni siquiera logran cruzar el puente hasta nuestra base de J1. GOA_Escorpi?n y yo realizamos pasadas sobre las posiciones de artiller?a enemigas y cuando el avance franc?s es destru?do por completo nos dirigimos hasta el puente de pontones enemigo sobre el r?o CHINDWIN. La AAA en el lugar es muy intensa. Luego de unas corridas de tiro, y de provocar algunos da?os, decidimos regresar a nuestras bases.

Las bajas fueron muy pocas teniendo en cuenta la intensidad del combate y los diferentes focos de acci?n. Una gran misi?n, sin dudas.

Salgo en un Tempest con el grupo  de luces apagadas. Nos costo detectar a los blancos pero finalmente los encontramos y los estrafeamos, yo particularmente me quede con los rockets para algo mas importante y cada blanco que veia me  ganaba alguien de mano antes y entonces segui al otro objetivo, que era el puente de pontones. Cuando hago la pasada sobre un AAA  me  pegan y me da?an el timon  y un ala, apenas podia maniobrar por lo que decido ir a la base, al querer alinearme con la pista y bajar velocidad, los controles dejaron de responder y no pude salir a tiempo.

Sali con Tempest en el grupo de los de luces prendidas, con GOA_Satch al mando.
Divisado el objetivo terrestre pico y largo mis cargas, obteniendo un lanzamiento que hace desaparecer una columna de transporte.
Luego y siguiendo lo planeado gano altura y me pongo a la busqueda de cazas enemigos. Logro ver que un IL (creo que Balker) est? "corriendo" a un corsair, pero luego de unas r?fagas desiste por la ya sabida diferencia de velocidad, por lo tanto ya que yo ven?a con buena inercia y velocidad rapidamente gano sus seis y con una r?faga de ca?ones logro partirlo.
Nuevamente subo, y escucho que se aproximaban los bombers enemigos, potencia 100% + la auxiliar mediante, logro ubicarme detr?s de uno de ellos y con buena suerte pude derribarlo en el segundo intento.
Luego de unas vueltas de reconocimiento veo otro de los bombers (ya que eran 3), asi que nuevamente a plena potencia me lanzo hacia ?l, viendo que tambien era perseguido por algunos de nuestros tempest; como ven?a con m?s altura e inercia me puse por delante de ellos y con otra certera y ya dudosa en m?  ;D punter?a le parto el ala y lo veo caer...
Intento luego hacer unas pasadas en el sector de puente de pontones, pero al ver la gran actividad de la AAA se me aflojaron un poco las juntas y decid? volver a base en donde aterrizo a salvo.
