Despego como líder con Falcon de numeral, nos dirigimos junto con Ceteu hacia la isla, una vez allí nos separamos de Ceteu y comenzamos una patrulla en cercanías de la pista en construcción, entramos en combate y derribo uno pero soy muy averiado y herido bajo en la pista pero la poca visión me hace estrellarme contra un camión al final de la pista.

Despego nuevamente e inmediatamente suenan las alarmas en la FT, alcanzo a ver 4 contactos que se acercan a la zona de exclusión, me trabo en combate con un seafury y logro derribarlo. Me dirijo a la isla y allí logro averiar a otro pero me quedo sin municiones, regreso pero me persiguen y me agujerean los tanques, llego cerca de la flota y amerizo sin combustible.

1er Vuelo

F4U-5 - 1 Tanque x 154 Gal - fuel 50% - Default

Despego del V2 con Pepper como líder de caza, acompañando a Ceteu en su misión de ataque a la isla Rennell. Al llegar emprendemos una PAC sobre la ínsula y entramos en combate separados. La superioridad numérica de enemigos me sobrepasa y mi avión es seriamente averiado. Intento aterrizar en la gramilla isleña mientras un enjambre de Avengers juega a hacer pasadas ametrallándome un poco cada vez. Toco tierra con el motor en llamas y todo termina.

Volvemos a salir con Pepper en medio de un ataque enemigo a la FT. Orbitamos buscando y persiguiendo contactos hasta que divisamos uno solitario. Pepper me ordena confirmarlo para lo cual me dirijo a su encuentro. Al llegar éste acomete de frente contra mí y comienza el doggy frenético al que se suman más aviones, todos Avengers. Seriamente comprometido mi avión por el fuego enemigo, logro abrir la carlinga y saltar pero soy acribillado en el aire antes de que se abra mi paracaidas.

1° Vuelo

Despego como único elemento de Ataque, con cobertura de Pepper y Falcon de parte de Caza, ya que Balker se encargaría de un vuelo de Recon al sur de Rennell. Posteriormente, se sumaría Cuervo, pero lamentablemente no pudimos coordinar esfuerzos.

Una vez cerca de Rennell, Caza se separa para investigar contactos. Sólo, decido no arriesgarme y cruzo por el medio de Rennell a 6.000 mts., para luego bordear la costa hasta el norte, donde ubico al acorazado australiano que tranquilamente procede a recibirme abriendo fuego con todas sus piezas AAA.

Pico casi en la vertical, lanzo mi bomba y al enderezar, observo que impacta sobre la cubierta a proa de las torres principales de artillería, provocando daños de importancia.

Otra vez alto, regreso a la FT, donde hay una verdadera corrida de toros con unos pobres Sea Fury, de los cuales uno cae víctima de Pepper.

Aponto sin más retrasos, salvo la novedad que rompo hélice.

Ya definitivamente fuera de juego Cuervo, salgo otra vez en solitario a destruír al acorazado, cada vez más presionado por los daños que su artillería causa en tierra, lo que impide que se consolide la pista en construcción.

Otra vez el mismo perfil de vuelo, llego al acorazado y pico, lanzo mi bomba y vuelvo a acertar, otra vez en la proa de lleno sobre la torre dos de artillería principal.

Insultando, tomo altura y bordeo al isla regresando a la FT cuando en tierra la AAA de la cabeza de playa y el aeródromo denuncian aviones enemigos. Con precaución, sabiéndome solo, investigo lo que es un contacto solitario, un Gannet. Pico sobre él acumulando velocidad, lo encaro y luego de una larga ráfaga, lo impacto, pero demoro en apartarme y trato de pasar rozándolo por encima, con la mala suerte que el Gannet levanta un ala y se toca con la mía de babor.

Ambos perdemos extremos de planos, por lo que caemos en tirabuzón. Abro la carlinga y salto, lo mismo que uno de los Aussies del Gannet.

Colgando del paracaídas a poca distancia uno del otro, blando mi puño prometiendo una paliza. Pero cuando lo observo mejor, el Aussie tiene una contextura física importante, haciéndome pensar que después de todo, no era buena idea tanta promesa.

3° Vuelo

Balker anuncia que ha encontrado una FT australiana avanzando desde el sur, con unidades pesadas y un portaaviones entre otras naves.

El hundimiento del acorazado al norte de Rennell se hace imperativo ante la posibilidad que nuestra FT quede encerrada entre dos fuerzas enemigas.

Ya sin cazas de protección y aún solo, a pesar que parece un suicidio, decido despegar. Pero en vez de un Corsario, opto por utilizar un Panther y asegurar el golpe lanzando las bombas en Skip Bombing, aunque tenga que realizar salidas hasta el hartazgo o caiga en llamas.

Decolo y tomo altura manteniendo distancia de la costa, a fin de no cruzarme con ningún avión enemigo, tanto que un banco de nubes hace que me pase un poco de mi objetivo.

Lo encaro desde proa, un poco sesgado a babor e inicio mi picada, poco pronunciada para de acumular velocidad sin tener que forzar la débil turbina. Cuando empiezo a enderezar el Panther a nivel del mar, abre un espantoso fuego AAA el acorazado.

Un Infierno de géiseres, rebotes, trazadoras y explosiones salpican mi camino, a veces ocultándome el blanco, hasta que a unos 900 Km/h lanzo mis bombas y acelerando a fondo, rompo por derecha esperando escuchar el ruido de la explosión que marque el fin de mi Panther en una vorágine de fuego.

No pasa esto y con la vista en el blanco, espero la explosión, que se retrasa. Cuando ya me amargo pensando que lancé lejos y por ende mis bombas quedaron cortas, el acorazado explota y se va al fondo por acción de una sola, ya que una de ellas pasa por encima de la ya casi sumergida cubierta de proa.

Contento a más no poder por haber hundido el barco que tantas pérdidas y salidas nos costara, vuelvo a la FT donde aponto sin más novedades.

Primer Vuelo

Texan - 100% Jugo.

Salgo en misión de reconocimiento al sur de Renell. Con el aviso de que sobre la isla hay numerosas PACs, busco llegar al sur de la misma bordeando el sector oeste. Tras un largo vuelo, soy interceptado por un reactor enemigo. Pico y llego a nivel del mar. Soy derribado por la AAA o el caza.

Segundo Vuelo.

Texan - 100% jugo.

Nueva salida con misma misión. Tras un vuelo largo, llego a la zona de reconocimiento. Detecto un portaaviones, 4 acorazados y aproximadamente 6 buques menores (supongo destructores). La intensa AAA me hace observarlos desde lejos. Informo por radio de los contactos navales, posición y rumbo (aprox G1/2 con un rumbo general norte). Regreso. Tras otro trayecto largo, alcanzo la FT, donde fallo en enganchar un cable y caigo por proa. El porta me pasa por arriba.

Despego retrasado como numeral 2 de ataque. Al llegar al acorazado lanzo bombas pero no logro destruirlo. En la zona cazas enemigos me siguen, trato de esquivarlos pero soy destruido.

Despego del portaaviones para defender la flota de presencia enemiga. Realizo unos giros pero llego tarde y los enemigos son destruidos. Intento apontar pero luego de 2 intentos fallidos, al tercero mi avión rebota de forma extraña y no engancha, cayéndome al agua.
