Despego como numeral 2 de la escuadra liderada por Mano. Al llegar al objetivo intento varias pasadas con dificultades al no poder ver todas las antiaereas. Luego de destruir una artillleria enemiga, me dirigo hacia una AAA que estaba protegiendo un puesto de hospital.
Caigo en picada al raz del suelo y comienzo a estrafear. Logro destruir la AAA, pero al querer elevarme no lo hago a tambien y me estrello a uno 15 metros de la zona. (Mi explosion destruye el hospital).

Despego del V2 y nos dirigimos a Stanley, interceptamos a dos bombers y logramos que no descarguen sobre la base, dejo a uno averiado del cual se encargan los demás, aterrizo sin tren en Stanley pero con el avión intacto, un poco de pintura y algunos remaches de la parte baja.

Despego nuevamente del V2 con Alma y nos dirigimos a dar cobertura al recon (P2V5 Neptune), alcanzamos a un B29 y luego seguimos hacia Georgias, encontramos 3 o 4 Migs y comenzamos una dura batalla pero no logro alcanzarlos nunca.
Regresamos al V2 donde al apontar pego con la cola en el borde de popa.

Sin armas y con el avión muy dañado retorno a Stanley donde fallo la aproximación, dada las averías del aparato.

P2V5, 60% combustible, armamento default.

   Decolé desde Port Stanley y con rumbo 140, fui tomando altitud hasta reunirme con Caza al N. de las Georgias. Desde allí, a 5.100m, realicé el reconocimiento de la bahía que rodea Grytviken, pudiendo avistar al menos 3 submarinos clase Whisky, 2 DD, 1 crucero, 2 cargueros y 12 contactos navales, dentro y fuera de la bahía.

   Pasada la vertical del aeródromo de Grytviken, emprendí un viraje a izquierda, piqué, me planché, ante la amenaza de MiG anunciada por Caza y emprendí el regreso con rumbo Este, dos km, hasta luego poner rumbo 320 de retorno a Stanley.

   Aterricé sin novedad, entregando al Gu Ceteu a la PM, como me fue ordenado. Entregué la película al oficial de Inteligencia, para su análisis.

Objetivo: reconocimiento cumplido.

En la pista de Port Stanley, el viento cortaba la cara como navaja. Popeye me mira, medio tristón por el deber que tiene que cumplir, pero secretamente contento que semejante viaje de reconocimiento no lo va a hacer en solitario, acompañado de Fido que no se digna contestar comentarios en un idioma entendible. Sólo devora, inequívocamente, empanadas.

Montado en la torreta del artillero, me acomodo, saco el termo habitual de café, ése que no pudieron confiscar, me sirvo la primera taza de café irlandés hecho con el Jameson del cabo O`Malley, tripulante de tierra de la Fleet Air Arm y me pongo a ver el panorama.

Con celo, estoy constantemente mirando cielo y mar... El mar... Inmensa llanura acuosa llena de peces abierta a todos los continentes. El mar... Área de libre tránsito para las naves de todas las banderas hoy limitada por la agresión bolquevique. El mar, fuente de intercambio, de riqueza, de comunicación de los pueblos.  Hoy contaminado por las fuerzas de la destrucción y el dominio. El mar, coto de caza habitual de los gallardos pilotos del GAE, quienes defienden a su nación imbuídos del más puro sentir nacional. El mar...

En fin, Popeye rompe mi ensueño al anunciarnos que tendremos pronto los pies secos. Ya hacía unos minutos que teníamos a la vista intermitentemente los Panthers de escolta, realizamos la pasada de reconocimiento y ponemos rumbo 320º de salida. Al anunciarle un contacto sospechoso por no estelar ni condensación ni humo, lejano a las 5, le recomiendo a Popeye que se planche más de los 2.500 mts. aún. Huímos sin novedad con el pesado Neptune casi rasantes sobre las olas.

Luego de un aterrizaje abortado, tocamos tierra sin novedad. La PM me espera, pero... Oh sorpresa....!!! El Suboficial Mayor Gutiérrez, el padre de una mis amiguitas, es el encargado de la escolta y mi custodia. Conociéndolo, guiso carrero no va a faltar, algún corderito isleño será confiscado y terminará en nuestra mesa. Y es que le gusta con locura el Jameson, así que quid pro quo. Y la hija no le cuenta tanto... Además, in partibus infidelium, je. Que también sé de dónde cojea...

Despego como numeral 3 nos dirigimos a la zona de Darwin, llegamos a la costa sur y empezamos el ataque a las posiciones AAA, es cortina de fuego, mi pasada a una torpedera es larga, continuamos con los ataques, destruyo AAA, luego dos lanchas , ya muy tocado vuelvo a Stanley.

Ya sin motor aterrizo de panza a unos 10 km de Stanley.

Salimos con Tucan , desde Stanley con rumbo directo a Darwin, Llegamos a la zona y empezamos a barrer la zona, hacemos entradas en el pueblo de Darwin a las posiciones en tierra, destruimos algunas, hago pasadas a las AAA y destruyo, ahora le toca a las posiciones que rodean el Hospital, los muy cobardes se cubren en el lugar, hago mis masadas sin poder dar, sin munición de 20mm me voy al apontaje en el porta que esta fondeado , llego al porta que se encuentra en el canal, y engancho a mucha velocidad, el avion se eleva y cuando golpea contra la cubierta rompo ambas alas quedando la célula del corsario intacta.

Salgo como #5 desde el porta del sur por no haber mas lugar en el del norte, luego de decolar se me informa que paso como #2 con el TN Mano como lider, nos dirigimos con rumbo 315 hacia las islas, llegamos a la zona del objetivo entramos con el TN Mano a dos contactos navales, mis bombas quedan largas. Hago circuito y entro, le doy a una aeronace en tierra C47 aparentemente destruí mas que la aeronave, queda a confirmar si le di a una AAA que estaba cerca.
luego de varias pasadas y destruir variois blancos vuelvo a base por daños en el ala derecha, me estrello en cabacera.

Salgo en solitario con autorización del TN Mano, me dirijo a la zona del objetivo me cruzo con Mano que regresaba por daños, ya cuando llego Charrua estaba en circuito de apontaje en el porta fondeado en el canal.
Hago muchas pasadas efectivas destruyo una AAA y varios grupos de tropas en tierra, tanto en el aerodromo como en el pueblo.
Al dirigirme hacia el porta que esta en el canal diviso un contacto naval el cual identifico como un submarino sumergido entrando al canal por el lado oeste de la boca sur del canal.
Hago el circuito me quedo corto y me estrello contra el porta.

Me preparo para el despegue, la catapulta me jala y al salir despedido, no tengo la suficiente velocidad para alcanzar vuelo, caigo al mar.

La demora me aleja del grupo de caza, que busca desesperadamente interceptar unos contactos provenientes del norte.
Salgo a máxima potencia y busco privilegiar la velocidad por sobre la altura, alcanzo los 900 km/h y recién ahí empiezo en ascenso.
Al llegar a Puerto Argentino, veo un bombardero cuatrimotor (Tu-4) a unos 4000 metros, subo, y a la pasada le hago disparos, que lo dejan peor de lo que ya estaba. Alma se suma al remate y el mismo cae.
A todo esto el Neptune de exploración ya había salido, entonces, volvemos a nuestra tarea de proveer escolta, cosa que recién logramos casi ya sobre las Georgias.
Patrullamos sobre las Georgias mientras el recon hacía su trabajo.
En un determinado momento observamos unos contactos, los encaramos y a pesar de ir a más de 7500 - 8500 metros, no pudimos ganar superioridad sobre los ahora Migs descubiertos. Evadimos los embates, y luego de varios minutos de intento de atacarlos, los perdemos, con niveles de combustible bajo, decidimos retornar a la portaviones, donde aponto sin novedad.

Salgo desde el V1 hacia puerto argentino, lamentablemente no funcia mi radio por lo que debo volar incomunicado durante toda la mision. Nos dirigimos rapidamente a interceptar un grupo de bombarderos que se aproximan desde el norte. Los divisamos y comenzamos el ataque, toco a uno y despues entre todos logramos frustrar el ataque.
Nos reagrupamos y yo desciendo a puerto argentino a reabastecer. Aterrizo sin novedad.

Salgo nuevamente desde el V1, esta vez hacia las GEorgias para dar cobertura al Neptune de reconocimiento. Llegamos sobre las islas y nos agrupamos con el resto de la escuadra de caza mientras el Neptune realiza su trabajo. De pronto observamos contactos que resultan ser migs, no puedo precisar cuantos pero por lo menos se trata de una pareja. Entablamos combate pero se escapan hacia la altura, trepo hasta alcanzar los 10000 mts pero los migs se retiran, por lo que nos dirigimos a apontar luego de patrullar unos minutos. Afortunadamente el neptune puede regresar sano y salvo. Llegados sobre la flota aponto sin novedad.

Decolo desde el Victor 2 y agrupando a 2 aeronaves (Tf. Pepper y Tc. Alma), lidero en un principio, tras el retraso tecnico en el sistema APU del lider Tn. Castor.

Con hdg hacia Georgias nos disponiamos a realizar una CAP de precaucion. A medio camion la alarma suena por contactos entrando desde el Norte sin identificar. Con orden de reconocer antes de su aproximacion a la base ponemos a fondo nuestros Panther.
Radarizados localizamos con sencilles a los bandidos y sin demasiada dificultad la enorme silueta de los Tu-4 se daba a conocer las intenciones hostiles.
Inmediatamente todos en una pasada frontal obligamos a los bomber a soltar cargas sin llegar al objetivo, para comenzar a tomar maniobras evasivas que no les dan resultados.
De esa manera termino obligando a caer a uno.

El lider llegaba a nuestra posicion mientras Alma y Pepper descendian sobre la isla para reprovisionar.
Mas tarde colocariamos rumbo a georgias para dar cobertura a un recon realizado por el Gu. Popeye.

Tuvimos el agrado de volver a encontrarnos con los estratosfericos MiG-15, que escapaban trepando y se reposicionaban a nuestras 6. Varios minutos de vuelo y poco fuel nos obliga a retornar a la plataforma flotante llamada portaviones.
Aponto sin novedad.
