Esta vez me doy el gusto de liderar mi escuadra. Con Popeye como A2 y Mano como A3, nos aprestamos al decolaje desde el V1, cuando Mnao me informa que primero la radio se descompone, seguido de todo el avión. Su Corsario está tan desvencijado que lo termina dejando abordo sin poder participar en la última misión en Túnez.

Con Popeye entonces, me dirijo a BC06, donde se encuentra la último refugio de los rebeldes fedayines. Una vez divisados, atacamos desde el norte la base de la instalación donde hay un helipuerto, pensado realizar dos descargas, primero las de 1.000, luego las cuatro de 250 en la cima, cuando en medio de la picada, Caza nos avisa que aviones enemigos tratan de interceptarnos.

Con 600 Km/h en el indicador, me siento un poco a salvo, pensando además que Caza los está interceptando. Lanzo y evado a la derecha mientras veo que impacto de lleno en las edificaciones, cuando de repente escucho la voz de Popeye que anuncia su caída causada por la AAA.

Tomo altura nuevamente, con cierta reservas, ya que Caza nada me dice. Y no soy decepcionado, un punto aparece en mi retrovisor, que se agranda a la vez que se iluminan sus alas mientras las trazadoras pasan a mi izquierda. Invierto, suelto las bombas restantes y me trabo en combate con dos Hellcats, cuando de repente, veo que un Corsario me gana en el giro y se pone a sus 6. Es Charrúa.

Lo cubro mientras ataca, cuando se cruza un Hellcat enemigo que se pone sus seis. Lo ataco con mis 20 mm., lo toco y rompe hacia la derecha, lo sigo y luego de un corto combate de energía, lo derribo en el vértice de una trepada.

Mientras me vuelvo a ver si ayudo a Charrúa, veo que este viene hacia mí arreando al Hellcat aún, el cual me dispara en frontal y me acribilla el ala derecha, inutilizando los cañones.

Planchado, me vuelvo al V1 mientras Chape asiste a Charrúa. En el camino, ametrallo con los cañones izquierdos unos galpones a la vera del camino, causando algún destrozo.

Llegado a la FT, a pesar de las caídas de ala por las averías, aponto sin novedad.

2º Vuelo

Otra vez lidero a Popeye. Con el 60% de jugo como única variante en la carga, volvemos a BC06 para atacar la cima de la montaña donde se encuentran las demás instalaciones.

Con el mismo perfil de vuelo, mando a Popeye a atacar primero para darle la oportunidad de arrasar con todo. Nos descolgamos desde casi 4.000 mts., pero no rumbea bien la cima, llegando sobre la montaña a mitad de su ladera. Al corregir, queda paralelo a la misma, pero bajo, por lo que cuando suelta, sus bombas no se activan.

Lo sigo, lanzo y mis bombas vuelan todo. Otra vez.

Con el aviso de caza de presencia enemiga, ordeno plancharnos y volver a la FT. En el camino me vuelvo a tropezar con depósitos de materiales. Los cañoneo y estúpidamente, al pasar por arriba, todo vuela arrancándome un ala.

Sólo puedo ver como todo gira mientras la tierra se erige como un muro, donde me estrello sin poder ni decir hola.

3º Vuelo

Caza está en problemas. Chape se encuentra solo combatiendo contra tres aviones de caza enemigos.

En solitario, despego del V1, cuando diviso un segundo Corsario que sale del V2. Charrúa.

Con problemas de comunicación, igualmente coordino cubrirlo, cuando un Hellcat se cruza en nuestro camino. Luego de asegurarnos que es hostil, cubro a Charrúa que lo despacha en llamas al Averno.

Tratamos de ubicar a Chape, pero es tarde, ya ha caído. Con Charrúa orbitamos sobre los restos del castillo de BC06, que los franceses deciden volatilizar con cuatro bombas Tallboy lanzadas desde sendos Lancasters.

Mientras orbitamos para mantener el cielo libre de enemigos, Charrúa divisa un solitario P-63 que nos arremete bastante torpemente. Luego de una persecución que me lleva casi a 5.500 mts., lo derribo con ráfagas cortas.

Asistimos al espectáculo de los hongos de las Tallboys, y mientras los Lancasters se retiran, hacemos lo mismo nosotros hacia la FT, donde decido apontar en el V2 luego de un bolter en el V1 del que me salvo de milagro.

Decolé del V1 en formación de 2 aparatos liderada por Ceteu, rumbo 270 al objetivo, trepando hasta pasados 2000m, hicimos una entrada, encarando yo la zona norte de la fortaleza, en donde diviso una pista de helicópteros con gente y solté las bombas de 1000 lb, al escapar, fui ametrallado por unas armas AAA ubicadas en el punto más alto de la montaña ubicada al Oeste del complejo, que alcanzó el plexi y me hirio gravemente. Escapando, eyecté.

Segunda salida,con mismo rumbo,luego variado a 290, para entrar desde el Norte, en una suelta única no observé resultados de mis bombas, sobre la parte sur de la fortaleza y el lider me confirmó lo mismo. Espacé y con algunos impactos, solo, retorné con rumbo 060a 090, siendo interceptado por un Hellcat que logré evadir, pero pinchado, aterricé de emergencia, salvandome.

Corsarios Cohetes y 100 de fuel

Despegamos con rumbo a la zona de ataque, en busca de un grupo de suministros que nos informan que podiamos encontrar en el camino.

Cuando nos avisan los de ataque que entran a la zona, estamos a uno 5km vemos unos puntos que pican, y en la salida veo que ya son 4 los puntos, ahi nos percatamos que entraban con ellos los caza que no habiamos visto.

Con Chape vamos a full para poder llegar, lo pierdo ya le costo divisar a los cazas enemigos, y apremiaba la situacion de los de Ataque, entro en la refiega, y cuando veo cruzar un Hellcat le tiro todos los cohetes esto hace que largue al corsario y me le pongo a la 6 impacto varias veces , despues lo daño y lo termina de liquiidar otro piloto.

Otro me empieza a seguir y lo logra enganchar Chape al cual cubro y lo liquida, cuando le confirmo que todabia tenia sus Cohetes.

Llego  al porta con perforaciones en la cabian ya que al cortar camino para cubrir a lo de atque, paso por la zona del ataque y la AAA me tira con todo.

Aponto sin problemas.

Volvemos a salir con rumbo a la zona del Castillo, orbitamos en la zona, de pronto nos pican 2 P63 quedamos separados con Chape, yo entablo combate con uno que lo sigo le tiro varias veces veo los impactos, empieza a tomar rumbo directo para el norte no me le despego de sus 6, para esto Chape liquida a uno de ellos, mi contacto hace una maniobra como si fuera a picar, cuando de pronto veo como que empieza perder velocidad, este es mio dije, para mi sorpresa y no se cuando sucedio que pego un giro, y viene de frente, luego me entero que entra una formacion de hellcat al combate y mi p63 lo habia confundido con el hellcat, giro y me voy detras de estos nuevos ya que me seguian, los arrastro a la zona de combate, cuando entra Chape y Ceteu al combate , soy alcanzado por un contacto que no habia visto se incendia mi corsario y no puedo saltar.

Salgo solo para ir a ayudar Chape que combate con 2 hellcat y 1 p63, veo que un Corsario de Ataque sale , en vuelo lo veo a mis 6 intento comunicarme pero no recibo respuesta, yo lo escucho pero el a mi no, veo un contacto de frente que se dirige a la flota y trato de que me confirmen si era un Corsario, no tiro frontal ya que no queria sopresas desagradables, y cuando lo cruzo es un Hellcat me le pongo a las 6 y empiezo a desmembrarlo de apoco ya que es muy duro, hasta que me le pongo muy cerca y hago explotar.

Vamos directo despues para ayudar a chape que sigue en combate, cuando llegamos a la zona habia dejado fuera de combate a un hellcat y un p63 maltrecho, sigue a otro cuando se queda sin combustible y hace un aterrizaje de emergencia, estamos cerca de la base enemiga y nos dirigimos para ahi ya que veo en final un avion , cuando estoy llegando hace un aterrizage de emergencia y sale el piloto, pego un giro y lo dejo.

Ya con una triangulacion puedo comunicarme con el otro corsario y patrullamos la zona mientras llega Chape.

Vemos entrar a los francese con sus bombarderos  y hacen el lanzamiento donde destrullen todo.....

Volvemos a los portas donde apontamos.

Desde el V2 decolamos con mi wingman el Teniente Charrua hacia las proximidades del castillo, sito en BA09.
Llegamos unos minutos antes que la 1º de ataque sin novedad. No fue hasta la llegada de la de Ataque que se localizaron bandidos en la zona a los que comenzamos a contratacar intentando la superioridad.
Fue asi como despejamos el cielo y retornamos averiados al porta.

Continuando con la tarea volvemos a BA09 con informes de bandidos. Llegando al sector soy interseptado por Hellcats y P-63.
Logro cargarme a uno de ellos y averiar de gravedad a un segundo, con mi corsario realmente averiado voy al piso aterrizando de emergencia muy suave lo apoyo en el pasto.
Desde el suelo me informan, mientras espero a mi transporte, que el Hellcat averiado cayo.

Decolo por tercera vez en el dia y cuando estoy en el aire mis flaps se dañan por un descuido. Con menos de medio camino a BA09 regreso al V2 donde aponto para que destraben los FLaps.
