Ante las pérdidas sufridas por los Spitfire procedentes desde Inglaterra, el Mando británico ha decidido guardarlos para la defensa insular. Se estima la defensa en un Squadron de Hurricanes.

Decolé desde Saint Omer en formación de 4 aparatos liderada por Tucán y pusimos rumbo a Dunkerque. Tomamos contacto con Hurricanes y nos trabamos en combate. Entré en barrena en el segundo combate y salté, siendo capturado sobre la ciudad.

Decolé en última salida, con Ceteu como lider de ataque. En vuelo sin contactos enemigos, entramos al puerto desde el SO, lanzamos y regresamos planchados, sin novedad, a tiempo de tomar unas cervezas y comernos las últimas knedlíky que traje de Checoslovaquia.

Salgo como numero 2, después del despego tomamos altura mientras nos dirigíamos a la zona de patrulla, llegando , vemos contactos que nos enfrentan, empezamos un dog, que nos lleva a baja altura , después de varios embates, en un picado no logro recuperar y me estrello.

Salgo en solitario a reunirme con el combate, me encuentro con mis compañeros que intentaban dispersar un grupo de contactos que atosigaba a nuestros bomber, hago dispara a uno y lo sigo, lo toco , y intenta huir pero lo sigo y daño tanto el avion que el piloto salta , luego cae su avion.

Ceteu informa que es perseguido, voy en su ayuda y logro separa al contacto que lo castiga, después de unos cruces lo logro derribar.

A aterrizo y voy a recargar.

1º Vuelo

Bf-109E-4N - Default - Fuel 80%

Decolo como segundo elemento de la segunda Rotte de la Schwarm liderada por Tucán.

En combate en las cercanías de Dunquerke, trabamos combate contra Hurricanes, que se muestran bastantes agresivos.

En un combate de energía que finalmente nos lleva a bajo nivel, derribo un Hurricane que cae al perder un ala. Cuando estoy trepando, inicio otro combate contra otros dos, de los cuales luego de un tiempo, uno logra impactarme alcanzándome el motor. Logro tocar al otro, que escapa, pero mi estado es lastimoso.

Motor con acelerador trabado a fondo, un ala tocada y overheat, además de aceite por toda la carlinga me obligan a retirarme, acosado por el Hurricane, que reiteradamente me ametrala, sin lograr impactos gracias a mis virajes constantes.

Charrúa por suerte viene al rescate, sacándome de encima al inglés. Casi sin motor, encaro la pista a más de 220 Km/h, por lo que lo apago antes de tocar tierra.

Un toque y el avión rebota. Como no tengo motor, no puedo compensar la velocidad vertical y en el siguiente toque, el tren cede, por lo que arrastro la panza un breve trecho sin más daños que la hélice.

2º Vuelo

Despego otra vez, encabezando una Rotte con Popeye de wingman.

Tomamos rumbo inmediato a Dunquerke: Nuestros Kameraden se debaten contra cazas británicos.

Llegamos justo para relevarlos en el combate. Un Hurricane se carga a Popeye y Tucán, por lo que quedo solitario sobre Dunquerke.

Encuentro un par de Hurricane y luego de un combate donde por las nubes nos perdemos de vista por momentos, lo persigo rumbo al interior de Francia. Agotadas mis municiones prácticamente, lo dejo y regreso a base, dónde luego de un rato llaman tropas de tierra para confirmar la caída del Hurricane a 20 Kms al NE de Saint Omer.

Nueva salida sobre Dunquerke, a la que llegamos al mismo tiempo que unos Bf-110 que patrullan sobre el mar.

Aparecen los consabidos Hurricane que buscan impedir que molestemos la retirada de su Fuerza Expedicionaria. Tras otro combate en el que llegamos a estar al ras de las olas, derribo un Hurricane que cae envuelto en llamas.

Retorno sin novedad.

4º Vuelo

Ju-87B-2 Stuka - Bombas 1xSC1000 Kgs. - Fuel 80%

Con Popeye nos sobra el entusiasmo y ya que se presenta la ocasión, vamos a ver que tal se nos da el bombardeo en picado.

Sin oposición de cazas, los que barrimos previamente, llegamos sobre la vertical del puerto de Dunquerke.

Invertimos y el peso de las bombas nos arrastra. Ponemos frenos aerodinámicos y el aullido de las Trompetas de Jericó llenan de espantoso clamor el cielo y la tierra, provocando el pánico entre los que esperan ser evacuados.

Impacto en un muelle, donde las llamas de mis objetivos destruídos se suman como gotas de agua a un mar de destrucción ígneo y dantesco.

Retornamos sin novedad, aterrizando suavemente en el césped de Saint Omer.
