Los australianos vuelven sobre el convoy, hay que defenderlo y destruír a los agresores.

Se han detectado nuevas formaciones navales que se aproximan al convoy aliado desde el sud-oeste del mismo. Con los antecedentes que tenemos, no nos caben dudas acerca de su hostilidad. Hay que actuar rápido, se cierran rápidamente sobre la formación mercante.

Descontamos la presencia de aeronaves enemigas entre la FT propia y el área a defender, tanto de observación, como de caza y de bombardeo.

La 1º Escuadrilla de Ataque atacará y destruirá cualquier amenaza de superficie, lo que será su objetivo primario, evitando el combate aire-aire si se encuentra en la zona la 2º de Caza y Ataque.

Es necesario preservar los preciosos Panthers que poseemos para ataque aeronaval.

La 2º Escuadrilla de Caza y Ataque se encargará de mantener los cielos limpios de cualquier amenaza que presenten los australianos, de tal manera que la misión aire-superficie de la 1º pueda realizarse sin contratiempos.

La posición del convoy está dada en dirección general oeste, apoyarse en la navegación con el radiofaro del tipo YG.

Los portaaviones mantienen el curso hasta ahora llevado y mantienen la misma ayuda a la navegación.

  Decolé desde el V2, como nº 3, en elemento nº 2 liderado por Balker y seguido por Pepper. Efectuamos circuitos hasta 3000m y pusimos rumbo 260.

  Al arribar a la zona del convoy divisamos un contacto que en maniobra de combate colisionó a mis 3, a unos 500 m, con Falcon.

  Luego de efectuar otro patrullaje, regresamos a la flota, sin novedad.

  Salgo del V2 liderando la 2da seccion de caza con el GU Falcon como numeral. Nos formamos con el resto de la escuadra y seguimos rumbo al convoy liderados por Balker. Llegando al convoy cruzamos un contacto solitario al cual interceptamos pero el Gu  Falcon colisiona contra el mientras le daba caza. Proseguimos la patrulla y orbitamos al convoy durante varios minutos teniendo que retornar a la flota a repostar por el escaso combustible.

  Salimos nuevamente, nos reunimos y vamos otra vez al objetivo. Llegados sobre la flota con Balker y Pepper nos encotramos con dos bombarderos livianos a los que interceptamos, logro tocar varias veces a uno, pero en una pasada el artillero termina derribandome.

Doy caza a uno, luego consigo derribar a otro que se avalanzaba sobre el Capitan Balker y derribo un tercero antes de retornar a la flota donde aponto sin novedad.

F9F2 Panther - 80% Fuel + Tanques - Default

Despego nuevamente luego de repostar, tomamos altura y nos dirigimos hacia la zona del objetivo de la patrulla. Luego de varios minutos divisamos 2 contactos enemigos, uno derriba a Alma y Balker resulta averiado, quedo solo y también averiado logro enganchar a uno de los bandidos que baja y luego toma altura nuevamente, mis impactos lo incendian y por precaución evitando los disparos del artillero rompo hacia abajo, cuando retomo observo que cae hacia el mar. Retorno con agujeros extras al V2, al entrar en final me entero que no tengo flaps, hago el intento, entro rápido y a último momento pego el palancazo, la suerte está conmigo engancho y logro frenarlo. Un sudor frío me recorre la espalda y los latidos siguen disparados, cuando me calmo un poco manoteo la petaca del bolsillo de mi pierna y la vacío hasta la última gota.

Como líder de Ataque, reitero la misma formación de las últimas, con Cuervo como A2 y Charrúa como A3.

Problemas técnicos retrasan la salida de Charrúa, así que por limitaciones de combustible avanzo hacia la zona de acción con sólo dos aviones. Charrúa se nos unirá luego.

Navegamos sin problemas hasta el convoy aliado e iniciamos la búsqueda de las fuerzas hostiles al sud-oeste del mismo.

Con rumbo 225° no tardamos en divisar una formación naval de tres buques, seguido de otra más lejana de dos.

Le indico a Cuervo que ataque el de mayor porte, un crucero, pero al iniciar la caída de ala para el ataque, me impacta la AAA y me deja sin alerones y los demás controles reducidos, por lo que cuando alineo el avión, quedo encarado al crucero. Ordeno a Cuervo el cambio de blanco, un destructor y lanzo sobre el crucero, haciendo blanco y hundiéndolo. Lamentablemente, al forzar el cambio de blanco, Cuervo no puede meter sus bombas con limpieza y falla. Mientras emprendo el rumbo de regreso, llega Charrúa, que se carga al destructor que había escapado de Cuervo.

Vuelvo a la FT y tengo el primer turno de apontaje. Luego de una buena aproximación, el avión al apontar se desvía hacia la grúa de cubierta. Sin controles, no puedo hacer nada, pierdo un ala, el avión rueda y si bien no estalla, muero entre los restos de la cabina.

Repetimos formación y esta vez por suerte podemos partir los tres en formación.

Con el mismo objetivo, vamos por el barco sobreviviente de la primera formación naval y los de la segunda.

Una vez avistados, me mantengo en reserva, a fin que Cuervo y Charrúa hundan sus blancos navales. Mientras entran en corrida, sin largar bombas inicio una falsa corrida por popa de los navíos australianos a fin de atraer su AAA.

Ambos hacen impactar sus bombas, el barco de Charrúa se hunde pero el de Cuervo se resiste a irse al fondo. Inicio mi ataque sobre ese buque, otro crucero, que ya se encuentra en llamas pero aún abre fuego con todas sus piezas AAA, le dedico sólo dos bombas que impactan y completan el trabajo de Cuervo. En medio de explosiones, el barco desaparece.

Con dos bombas de 500 lbs. aún, dedico mi atención a la corbeta sobreviviente de lo que fuera una temible formación de combate australiana.

Con Charrúa en mi estela para dividir la AAA, lo alineo cuidadosamente mientras veo correr desesperadamente a la tripulación en cubierta, mientras pienso que es un blanco pequeño y difícil de acertar.

Sin embargo me esmero y mis dos bombas aciertan de lleno, acabando con lo poco que quedaba del grupo de superficie agresor.

Nos volvemos a la FT, y al llegar a sus proximidades, observo atónito como los barcos abren fuego en nuestra contra. Miro por el espejo y se definen dos contactos.

Aviso a Cuervo y Charrúa, además de caza y me trabo con combate. Son Sea Furys australianos, que como estamos bajos y a baja velocidad, se hacen un festín con nosotros.

En el combate que sigue, toco a un Sea Fury en un frontal bastante jugado, trato de seguirlo en una tijeras pero es imposible, aprovecho mi velocidad y me alejo un poco antes de retomar la lucha con más velocidad, sin estar tanto a merced de los australianos. Persigo a uno que trepa levemente, pero a pesar de llevar más de 600 km/h en el indicador, no logro acortar distancias apreciablemente hasta que llego a la zona donde combate la 2° con otros contactos.

Con la premisa de no combatir si está Caza en el sector y afín de preservar los Panthers, vuelvo a la FT, donde aponto sin novedad.

Despego del V2 como numeral del TF Alma en la segunda sección de caza. Nos formamos con el resto de la unidad liderada por el CF Balker y ponemos rumbo al convoy aliado. Al llegar a la zona divisamos un contacto solitario en altura al que acudimos a identificar. Al interceptarlo, el contacto inicia una maniobra evasiva que interpreto como hostil, por lo que inicio un ataque. Sorpresivamente vira hacia mí a mucha velocidad. Le disparo, lo alcanzo de lleno viendo claramente el efecto de mis proyectiles sobre la estructura del avión, incluso nos vemos cara a cara con el piloto, pero no puedo evitar la colisión.

Despego raudamente del V2 para sumarme a mi sección que se encontraba sobre el convoy. Al llegar a la zona, y al no haber actividad aérea significativa, la escuadrilla decide la vuelta a la FT para una nueva salida con nuevo combustible. Acompaño al resto del escuadrón y al apontar en último turno choco contra la cubierta del portaviones.

Despego retrasado de la formación, llego solo a la flota veo un contacto y me lanzo sobre el entro haciendo evasivas para evitar los impacto en el agua levantan grandes chorros de agua, tiro las bombas y salto la estructura impactando y mandando al fondo el buque.

Regreso a la flota sin novedades para una nueva salida.

Esta ves salimos todos juntos nos formamos y nos dirigimos otra ves al encuentro de la flota, entramos todos juntos Cuervo no logra hundir ya que el buque es muy grande y aguanta el impacto, voy yo que mando al fondo el mio, acompaño a Cetu con el del, asi dividimos la AAA veo sus bombas impactar y destruye el buque de salida como le quedan salvas, vuelve sobre el de Cuervo y entramos otra ves juntos mandándolo al fondo.

Pierdo a mis compañeros y vuelvo solo, paso sobre nuestra flota para levantar la moral, me saludan los tripulares y ve que el del centro tira como loco para arriba aviso a los caza que se van para la zona.

En el camino alcanzo a mis compañeros y nuetra flota esta tirando, veo un enemigo y me voy a la caza, cuando lo estoy por alcanzar me dañan el avión pero no se si es mi AAA o un contacto que no vi , sigo al enemigo lo pierdo y voy por otro cuando de pronto exploto .

Salgo de líder de la primera PAC. Llegamos sobre el convoy propio. Encontramos un aparato enemigo y lo derribamos. Tras varios minutos más de patrulla, regresamos a nuestra FT.

Nueva PAC sobre el convoy. Tras una larga patrulla detectamos a dos aviones de ataque enemigos. Atacamos. Pepper y yo los alcanzamos. Pepper derriba a uno y yo dejo a otro arruinado. Termina cayendo. Ambos quedamos maltrechos por el fuego defensivo enemigo. Volvemos a la FT.

  Quedo largo con mis bombas, y Ceteu logra destruir el blanco pero su avión es gravemente dañado.
  Ponemos rumbo para volver al portaaviones, Ceteu se estrella al apontar, pero yo logro hacerlo sin novedad.

Despego como numeral 2 de la escuadra de ataque liderada por Ceteu. Ponemos rumbo hacia el objetivo naval. Al llegar a la zona entramos en fila y nos dividimos los objetivos. Daño a mi objetivo pero no logro destruirlo, sin embargo Ceteu logra terminar el trabajo.
Ponemos rumbo al portaaviones para apontar pero somos seguidos por cazas enemigos. Entramos en batalla y cae Charrua, luego yo soy derribado rápidamente.
