Situación en el Teatro de Operaciones:

?   El ataque de los submarinos soviéticos al GT del HMS Illustrious ?fondeado en el Canal de Beagle- fue frustrado por la advertencia temprana de los B-25 de exploración oceánica de la FACH y por la masiva presencia aeronaval argentina, pero los submarinos al acecho siguen rondando la salida del canal y por eso el GT británico está imposibilitado de dejar su fondeadero, operando como un pontón, estación de radar y helipuerto.

?   El campamento británico de Bahía Brown (Isla Laurie), no ha recibido nuevos ataques y se mantiene.

?   Un número de 20 a 30 submarinos soviéticos se estiman rodeando las Islas Malvinas, dentro de la Zona de Exclusión Total de 200 mn. declarada por el Reino Unido, por lo que pueden ser atacados libremente.

?   Numerosos pesqueros soviéticos en misión de inteligencia operan junto a esos submarinos, transmitiendo información a su Flota, sobre los movimientos de buques y aviones desde el Continente y posibilitan el bloqueo.

?   Las Islas Malvinas están sitiadas por mar. Es evidente que la estrategia soviética es asfixiar la posición hasta hacer caer la plaza.

?   Hoy comenzará un puente aéreo desde el Continente a las Malvinas, por la FAA, la ARA, la FACH y la RAF.

?   Se espera un posible ataque aéreo soviético sobre la pista de Port Stanley.

?   El Reino Unido ha decidido que es muy arriesgado enviar en curso directo al grueso de su flota -fondeado en Ascensión-, con rumbo 190/200º a las Malvinas. En lugar de ello, han pedido a Argentina y Uruguay permiso para bordear sus costas, hasta Río Gallegos y cruzar desde allí a las Islas, con sus buques y aviones militares y de transporte.

?   Preventivamente, la Armada Argentina desplegará su flota para salir al cruce de los británicos en el Mar Argentino y escoltarlos hacia el destino. Ya está listo para zarpar el V1 desde Puerto Belgrano.

?   La República Oriental del Uruguay y la República de Bolivia han ofrecido su ayuda a Argentina y comprometieron el envío de un componente aéreo, que será desplegado en la Patagonia en los próximos días.

?   Es prioritario mantener operativa la pista de Port Stanley, eliminar la mayor cantidad de navíos de inteligencia soviéticos y submarinos operando al Oeste de las Malvinas (entre el Continente y las Islas).


Prestar atención a las órdenes fragmentarias que serán impartidas, en las próximas horas, al GAE.

Despego con el C-47 con rumbo 0-5-0 para enviar un paquete con radar a puerto stanley, me dirijo con rumbo fijo sin dudas de navegacion, aterrizo en Puerto Stanley sin ningun problema, se realiza la descarga del radar y procedo a despegar y tomar rumbo 2-4-0 hacia Ushuaia, aterrizo sin novedad-

 Tras varios problemas, tuve que decolar retrasado unos 15' de Ushuaia.

 Puse rumbo a AJ30, punto de referencia visual, en cuya vertical corregí a 050º.

  Al máximo de potencia, arribé a la costa Este de la Isla Soledad y contactaron en ese momento los cazas, que repostaron sobre Port Stanley.

  Vi que un Sunderland estaba amarrado en la Bahía, cumplida su misión, además de Tehuelche, con su C-47.

  Luego emprendí el regreso con Tehuelche, dejándolo atrás. Aterricé en AJ30 sin novedad.

Salgo como Charlie 2, siendo C1 Alma Y C3 Chape. Procedemos sobre Port Stanley, donde realizamos una PAC, avistando sólo aviones aliados, P-47 y P-51 de la FAB y el C-47 que transportaba al radar inglés.

Faltos de jugo, repostamos del Neptune Romeo 41, sin novedad. Pierdo en una pasada sobre un contacto sospechoso, debido a la velocidad, aparentemente, uno de los elevadores. A pesar de romper violentamente hacia arriba, logro controlarlo y sin más aterrizo en la pista de P. Stanley, sin novedad.

Salgo como A.1 , me siguen Minos , Charrua y Cuervo como A2, A3 y A4-
despegamos y ponemos rumbo bordeando la costa. sobre el continente nos dividimos por elementos para cubrir mas espacio.
Realizamos la busqueda sin dificultades, con Minos encontramos un submarino al cual hundimos. Charrua y Cuervo hacen lo mismo con otro sub y un navio mas. cortos de combustible y de armamento regresamos a base.

Salgo como Nº4 de la escuadra de ataque liderada por Gaucho. Despegamos y ponemos rumbo bordeando la costa. Sobre el continente nos dividimos por elementos y quedo bajo el liderazgo de Charrua.
Ponemos rumbo 90 para comenzar la búsqueda de los submarinos. Aparentemente ese día vine con la vista afilada ya que a mucha distancia logro divisar algo. Al acercanos nos damos cuenta que era un submarino. Charrua ataque primero y lo destruye sin dejar rastro alguno. Volvemos para continuar con nuestro rumbo, y nuevamente diviso algo a lo lejos. Nos acercamos y resulta ser un barco de gran tamaño que dispara contra nosotros. Le entro primero pero mis bombas no dan en el blanco. Luego le entra Charrua pero no tiene suerte. Por ultimo vuelvo a atacar y esta vez utilizando 4 bombas logro dañarlo y hundirlo. Ya con el combustible justo, volvemos a la base.
Durante el aterrizaje tuve algunos problemas con los flaps y con los controles y se me hizo imposible tocar tierra sin estrellarme así como también me dificulto mucho la puntería con bombas.. (Me funcionaba muy Frizado)

1º Vuelo:

Salgo como numeral 3 , se decide que nos vamos a dividir en dos elementos uno la parte sur y el otro la parte norte, con cuervo nos vamos a la parte sur, navegamos con rumbo a las Islas Malvinas, a 10 minutos de vuelo Cuervo divisa una figura hacia el sur, ahi nos dirigimos diviso un submarino y lo ataco de una pasada lo mando al fondo sin dejar nada en superficie.

Seguimos mas al este y cuervo nuevamente divisa al norte un buque , nos vamos para ahi y atacamos , cuervo primero que dan largas, después lo ataco yo que logro dañar luego Cuervo lo envía al fondo.

Ya con 40 libras de combustible regresamos a base donde aterrizo sin novedades.

Como numeral 2, decolamos desde Ushuaia con HDG 058, hacia Stanley. Debiamos realizar CAP, para evitar la supuesta aproximacion de bombarderos rusos a la zona.
Tras varios minutos sin novedad nos desplazamos al Oeste donde cruzamos con cuatro pistoneros que resultaron Aliados (Chilenos).
Fue ahi cuando la aguja de fuel piso las 3000 LBS y con un Neptune Romeo cerca procedemos a repostar.
Con turno 2 lleno mis tanques.
Fue unos minutos mas tardes cuando el lider acusa la necesidad de descender en la base de Stanley. En ese momento decido moverme con el 3er elemento de la formacion hacia el Oeste pero problema en sus Flaps lo obligan a seguir al lider, por lo que me sumo a ellos y aterrizo sin novedad en Puerto Stanley (Puerto Argentino)

Despegamos de Ushuaia, lidero el grupo de cazas y me acompañan Chape y ceteu. Navegamos con rumbo 58 y llegamos a las islas malvinas. En el camino interceptamos un contacto al que identificamos como amigo. Ya sobre las islas nos mantenemos patrullando y luego de varios aburridos minutos, repostamos con el tanquero que se habia acercado a la zona. Ya muy cansado aterrizamos en Puerto Argentino, luego de casi 2 horas agotadoras de patrulla.
