El enemigo ha empezado una operación terrestre con medios limitados. Más que una invasión a Finlandia, se trata de un golpe relámpago contra una pequeña ciudad fronteriza. Vamos a salir de los portaaviones para neutralizar esta amenaza. Igualmente, estén atentos a cualquier actividad enemiga cerca de la Fuerza de Tareas.

Vuelo 1:
Grumman F-9F8 Cougar: '02xMk82_Bomb+04xMk81_Bomb' fuel 90%

Decolé como numeral de Charrua y Balker con rumbo 326 y luego 090. Primer objetivo: dar cobertura a un escuadrón de Skyraiders que atacarían un aeródromo en unade las islas del Golfo. Segundo objetivo: Cuando los ?Spads? rompieron para atacar, los seguí y entré, lanzando en una pasada las bombas. Luego hice 2 más con cañones, destruyendo un helicóptero y un avión de transporte estacionados en plataforma. Retorné sin novedad.

Vuelo 2:
NA FJ3M Fury default + 100% fuel

Scramble! Bandidos sobre la FT! Gritó el CAG. Entonces decolé con Charrua y Balker para orbitar sobre la zona a 3000. Luego se nos unió Chape.
Nos hicieron frontal y luego perdieron altura. Luego advertí varias estelas de misil del lanzador del portaaviones en dirección a los bandidos. Vi como uno de ellos le daba alcance a un MiG-17 hasta estallar en su cola y grité como loco de emoción.
Retorné a repostar combustible.

Vuelo 3:
Grumman F-9F8 Cougar: '04xMk82_Bomb' fuel 60%

?Scramble!? sonó la voz estridente del CAG desde el altavoz del puente, al tiempo que otro misil Crotale dejaba su tubo con una estela brillante.
2 navíos tipo destructor estaban abriendo fuego a menos de 5 km de la FT y Balker ?lanzado en solitario al ataque, echando a pique a uno de los dos- ordenaba desesperadamente que suprmiésemos la amenaza.
Puse rumbo a toda potencia seguido por Chape y tras una pasada de reconocimiento visual, me acomodé para mi carrera de ataque, lanzando en una sola pasada las 4 bombas.
Alcancé a ver una bola de fuego que envolvía la popa y una columna de agua de 100 metros que escondía al navío. Chape también confirmó el impacto.
Hice una tercer pasada con cañones de 20 y vi un fuego descontrolado y humo negro desde el través de babor hasta la popa.

Seguimos a los Skyraiders hasta la base rusa a bombardear. Cuando pican para empezar el ataque hacemos las pasadas. Entre fuego de AAA y misiles provocamos grandes daños. Sin poder encontrar a los MIGs de cobertura, pongo rumbo a los portas y aponto sin novedad.

2º Vuelo:

FJ3M_Fury / Default / fuel 90%

Esta vez salimos para dar caza a una patrulla soviética que anda rondando la FT. Nos reagrupamos y terminamos en un frontal. Combatimos sobre los portas y vemos como los misiles del porta francés vuelan por todos lados. Derribo a un MIG-17A. Sin otros contactos enemigos y al ver que la FT se encuentra bajo fuego naval, regreso y aponto sin novedad.

Salgo para neutralizar blancos navales que disparan a nuestra flota. A poca distancia distingo un crucero y un destructor. Encaro los blancos bajo fuego defensivo de AAA. Mi primera pasada, con las 2 M117, no fue exitosa. Las bombas quedan largas y pasan sobre el destructor. La segunda pasada sale mejor y 3 de mis 4 Mk81 dan en el blanco. El destructor se va a pique. Sin armamento lanzable vuelvo al porta.
